In Canada, issued a coin with a Ukrainian ornament

In Canada, the Royal Mint reported that they issued a coin, which depicts Ukrainian ornaments on one side and, on the other, the profile of Her Majesty Elizabeth II. According to representatives of the court, this is already their fourth “pysanka”, and this coin in its form has become a small copy of the famous Ukrainian Easter egg.

The coin is made of pure silver and has a denomination of 20 local dollars. Its circulation is only five thousand pieces and will go on sale not earlier than 5 February. Numismatists should prepare. You can see the creation of the Canadian Mint with your own eyes in our photo gallery.
